here is my favorite day at camp.
i just made a lunch for the 2 years 5 mile hike and i put it right next to my duck tape bag up against a tree. i went on my way to dance with no care in the world. i come back in like an hour and was looking for my lunch. i turned around and there was a really fat and fluffy squirrel. he looks at me i look at him and in a blink of an eye he runs of. i told my friend Kaile what the french toast is his problem but she was laughing to hard to care.

Trip To Cali
Juan, and his brother drove to Calif. Friday night to pick up our niece Marina. She is staying with us this summer. Also to pick up Lupe's son (our nephew) Andrew. While they were there the had a family BBQ, and took pictures. (I'm going to try and post the pictures.) Juan said it was nice seeing everyone.
Girls Camp
Bailey, had a lot of fun at girls camp. I told her to come blog about it, but she didn't. Maybe later on. The funniest thing she told me that happened there was a squirrel stole her lunch. They had sack lunches for their hike, and everyone sat down their lunch until it was time to eat. When Bailey went to get her lunch, a squirrel ran off with it. No lunch for Bailey. I told her it was because last year in Oklahoma, they were shooting at the squirrels with wrist rockets, and Alec hit one. So they came back to haunt her.

My hair cut
OK, well I haven't told many people, and not too many people have seen my new hair cut. I cut it all off. Yes, I now have short hair. My boys said "You look like Grandma" (whatever), and my husband said, "As long as you like it" Thanks for the love you guys. Anyways, I'm getting use to it, and when I get the nerve up I'll post a pic.

Edward's 12th Birthday
Edward turns 12!!! Besides wanting an ipod for his birthday, he wanted a new suit to wear to church. Now that he is 12 he can pass the sacrament, and collect fast offerings. So... as Edward puts it he wants to look pimp. I think he looks very handsome.
Tortilla Flats letterboxing/Lost Dutchman
We went letterboxing on Edward's birthday. The first one we found was really easy. It was located in Tortilla Flats. This is a small, very small western town. The second one we hiked for 2 hours, in triple degree weather, in First Water Canyon, and never found it. Very disappointing. We did come across a baby mountain lion. It kept meowing at us, and following us through the bushes. We hiked faster at that point. Mama mountain lion couldn't of been too far away. On the way home we stopped for pizza, and we had brownies instead of cake. It's another great family memory. As Alec would say "good times!!!"
